Built circa 1800, the cottage has been fully refurbished to an exceptional standard, both inside and out.
An important feature of the refurbishment was the installation of a ground source heat pump, giving guests at Drumfad the benefit of 24-hour underfloor heating and hot water in an environmentally sustainable way.
Accommodation:
The accommodation comprises, on the ground floor, a spacious open-plan living and kitchen area with electric oven/hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, washing machine, leather sofas, large screen TV with Free Sat, a log-burning fire and downstairs WC.
The first floor comprises two luxury bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two singles, each room furnished to a very high standard, together with a main bathroom with sink, WC, bath and shower.
All bed linen and towels are provided. A free welcome pack of bread, tea, coffee, sugar, milk, home-baking, local newspaper, wine and firewood will be available on arrival.
The property sleeps up to 6 or, together with the Drumfad Barn, up to 12 people.
Both properties have separate patio areas with garden furniture and barbeques and each contains a double sofa bed.
The Cottage and The Barn are adjoining with a connecting door which can be locked, allowing both properties to be let separately or as one for larger groups.
