Originally a lock keepers cottage built around 1830, the cottage has been extended and renovated to provide quality self catering accommodation. The cottage consists of two bedrooms, sitting room large dining kitchen and shower room. A large wood burning stove within the sitting room  heats the radiators and hot water and is ideal in the cooler evenings, firewood is supplied for your use.To the rear is a large secure garden with picnic bench and barbecue is available along with parking for up to two cars. Situated on the side of the Caledonian canal and within the village Kintore cottage is an ideal place from which to relax or explore Loch Ness and the surrounding area.
